Founder & CEO, Jacqueline N. Love

Jacqueline N. Love, MPA is the Founder, President and CEO of Grandma’s Hands, Inc. Inspired by her late grandmother, Jacqueline turned the 2012 dream of Grandma’s Hands into a reality in 2014. Through this Brooklyn born organization, Jackie endeavors to give back to today’s seniors for the countless sacrifices they make for their families, give back to the community, and most importantly, continue her grandmother’s selfless spirit of service to others.

Jacqueline was born and raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, NY. Losing her mother and father at a young age, Jackie, her younger sibling and cousin were predominantly raised their maternal grandmother. Despite the challenge of growing up without her parents, Jackie had a very good upbringing. Her grandmother instilled in her very strong morals and values with a great sense of community. Her mother’s church-home continued to be a pillar of strength and support throughout her adolescence.

Education, an essential component of her success, Ms. Love attended prep school for early childhood education and at age 12, was accepted into one of the top five specialized high schools in New York City, Brooklyn Tech. While in high school, Jackie participated in many community-centric activities. She also began to hone in on her entrepreneurial interests starting several businesses from craft-making, tutoring and academic writing to running her own small printing press. In 1999, Jacqueline received her BA in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, simultaneously launching a career in social services. Working up the ranks at ACS, New York’s premier agency for children’s services, Ms. Love was recently recognized for 15 years of service. In 2016, Jacqueline proudly obtained her MPA in Public Policy and Planning from Metropolitan College of New York.

A true community activist, Jacqueline supports numerous causes including AIDS, Lupus, Domestic Violence, Cancer and Homelessness in NYC, to name a few. In addition to running Grandma’s Hands, Jackie serves on the Advisory Board of Visions and is also a member of the National Organization of Black Law Executives (NOBLE), Order of the Eastern Star, NAACP, American Society of Public Administrators (ASPA) and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

With a growing network of supporters and beneficiaries, Ms. Love hopes to open a headquarters for Grandma’s Hands in Brooklyn, strengthen and enhance existing programs, and create new programs to serve seniors across the Metropolitan area and Philadelphia!

 

CMO & Founding Board Member, Zachary R. James

Zachary R. James is the CEO and Lead Consultant of Rebel Hill Consulting, a business development consulting firm that uses relationship-based strategies to obtain its clients’ goals.

Zack is a graduate of the School of Tourism & Hospitality at Temple University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport & Recreation Management. With a heavy focus on hospitality and marketing, Zack took his skill set to New York where he spent his senior semester as a marketing intern for the WNBA’s New York Liberty. Zack became addicted to the fast-paced work environment of New York City and decided to start his professional career with the New Jersey Nets of the NBA. Over three years, Zack had the opportunity to work in ticket sales, customer service & retention and event production. His experience in so many phases of operation made him an ideal fit for the premium sales team that was at the forefront of opening the much anticipated Barclays Center. Zachary also became one of the first staff members to receive hospitality training from the famed Disney Institute. From the sales of premium seating to implementing a comprehensive networking platform, Zachary became a part of the fabric that brought professional sports back to Brooklyn.

With the creation of Rebel Hill Consulting upon returning to his hometown of Philadelphia, Zack’s goal is to grow a massive network of people and businesses that understand the value of brand growth through relationship building. With a focus on hospitality and helping others, Zack seeks to make Rebel Hill a household name in branding, business development and strategic synergies. In a short time, the firm’s scope has grown to include Real Estate, Fashion, Investments and Non-Profit work.
